IN 2005
The Ondenet company was founded by Richard Brunelle in 2005. His first telecommunication tower was built near the Belvédère site in Val-d'Or, Québec.
That same year his first link was made to Ontario, precisely in New Liskeard, over a distance of 192 km. At that time, the response time could reach up to 6 - 7 milliseconds with a Motorola microwave. With its 78 towers spread over the Abitibi region, the company has served rural areas particularly campsites, mining servicing as well as federal and provincial agencies.
Over the years, Ondenet has been recognized for its unparalleled customer service and trust in the reliability of its service.
The idea has simmered for taking over the reins by the new generation of the family. In the fall of 2021, it officially materialized under the name of G (generation)-Ondenet.
G-Ondenet is based on more than 15 years of hard work, ambition and above all a grand passion of the Ondenet Papa. Our mission is to perpetuate these years of value by making them our daily vision while aiming for the same excellent customer service in a great team spirit.
